Daniel Browne, one of earliest settlers in Delaware on the Whorehill Lewes with extensive lands. Indian trader with his second wife, Susannah Ver Planck Browne, who had a license to trade and traffic with the Indians along the Whorekill and other parts of Delaware. He had military appointments on the Whorehill.

Susannah Ver Planck was his 2nd wife, the name of his first wife is unknown.
