Notes for (17G) Sir Henry Percy: Henry Percy, the only son of "Hotspur" and the hope of the house. He succeeded, on the death of his grandfather, becoming the second Earl and inherited confiscated estates and attainted titles.
In the early part of the reign of Henry V he was restored to his family lands and honours by the young monarch whose cousin the Lady Eleanor Nevill he had married' and who was moved towards him by the intercession of his aunt the Countess of Westmoreland, daughter of John of Gaunt.
