Searching MACAULAY/McAuley (Tyneside 1870 but originally fromScotland & Ireland). Particularly seeking birth of DAVID MACAULAY born 1844 Scotland or Ireland (father was James, a carpenter)and David first appears on Jarrow Tyneside 1871 census when he was an Iron Caulker but he later went on to own a number of furniture dealerships in Jarrow. Also news of where in Northern Ireland his son James Macaulay was residing (? Bangor) with his wife Mary around 1912. James was a naval architect working at Harland & Wolff on plans for Titanic: Birth of SARAH BUCKHAM 1799 Tyneside, probably Ryton area: MILLER family (fishcurers/carters)of Coldstream,Beadnell & Newcastle)- particularly family of John MILLER, farmer, who committed suicide at West Wideopen farm, Northumberland in 1878. Would appreciate sight of any 1851 CENSUS entries in Ireland or Scotland.
