William Riley Cloer (son of Elijah B. Cloer and Sarah Howard) was born February 10, 1830 in North Carolina, and died September 1, 1913. He married (1) Mary Drucilla Burrell, daughter of Center Burrell and Sarah Sally Denton. He married (2) Margaret J. Moore on March 12, 1859.
