KORN-DICKSON-CARLSON-SAMUELSON-LEE-ROBERTSON-TRIMBLE-VANDENBURG I am researching the KORN family from Kuldiga (Goldingen) Latvia. Rudolph KORN (aka KORETZKY)& his wife, Bertha Christine GREENHAGEN arrived in Philadelphia on August 13, 1895 from Liverpool, England. Children to that union were: Adolph, b. 1893, Sophie (born either 1893 or 1888), Lena, Hermena, and Lewis John Korn, born 1903. They resided in Clifton Heights, PA. I am also researching the John Peter CARLSON family of Minden, Nebraska. He was born in Jonkoping Lan Sweden 14 Mar 1856 and came to the US in 1879. He settled in Kearney Co. Nebraska, and married Clara Mathilda SAMUELSON (b. 25 October 1861) in Axtell, NE on Dec 31, 1887. Children to that union were Minnie Elizabeth,(1889) Pearl Marie,(1890) Eleanor Julia,(1892)Gilbert Arthur,(1894) Elfie S.(1895) Harold Ivard,(1898) Vern Edward,(1900) John Rudolph,(1903) and Paul Wilbur (1904). John P. was the son of C. J. PETERSON and Anna Lena ???? born 1-31-1823. (d. 3-3-1897 in Kearney Co, NE) Clara was the daughter of Johannes SAMUELSON and Lena Marie JONASDOTTER of Okna Forsamling, Jonkoping Lan, Sweden. Specifically, I am interested in obtaining more information about their Swedish heritage. I also have extensive information regarding the Caleb LEE family of Cass County, Ill (born 1840); the (Justice) Robert TRIMBLE family of Bourbon Co, Kentucky, and others |
