Eugene Owen McSweeney was the original McSweeney imigrant to the US. This picture is the only picture taken of him and was taken a few days before his death, on his death bed. Eugene is my great, great, great grandfather. He apparently had black hair and a bright red beard up until his death. He is laying on some time of shag rug. That's not all his hair.
