The states pertaining to my research are:AR KY IL MS OK TN TX The names I am researching are: BAKER, CLEAR, DERRYBERRY, GWINN, HARRIS, JAMES, LAWRENCE, LYNN, SAMPLES, WELCHER There was several spellings for the WELCHER name back in the 1800's such as WILTSHIRE or WHELCHEL. I am finding it difficult to find information on Welcher's because of the many different spellings. I do know Nathan Welcher my great grandfather was buried in Texas somewhere around the years of 1880 to 1900 but I have not found his burial place.
