Notes for Maurice Phillip Hanscom: He was a pilot in WWI and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery. He worked as a piano maker from 1907 to 1909 and as a machinist from 1911-1916. He lived with his parents during these years. 1911 Boston City Directory: Maurice Hanscom, working at the Transportation Dept. at 39 Boylston St, Boston and living in Greenwood. The 1917-18 Wakefield City Directory says that he had moved to Boston. He was arrested for stealing a fire truck after he returned from serving in WW1. 1920 Census (MA v 85, ed 158, sht 4, ln 2) Maurice P.
