Alan Swindale's Family History Page

I am researching the family history particularly of the Swindales/Swindles from Northumberland. I am in contact with Janet Swindale in Australia and Joan Shrewsbury and Anne Roberts in Carlisle who are interested in the same family.I am also interested in Rattrays from East Lothian and the deaths of George Rattray - father and son - in around 1873 and 1882..I have compiled an index to the registered deaths in England between 1865 and 1900 of all homophones of Swindale excluding Swindel, Swindell, Swindels, Swindells which I am happy to pass on to any interested party.
