Notes for Lyman Colville Fisk:
Obituary provided by Dean Fisk:
Lyman C. Fisk, of Seneca township, after a brief illness which his physician pronounced quick consumption, died at his residence on the evening of Jan. 11 at or near twelve o'clock. Mr. Fisk was 47 years of age and had been a resident of this vicintiy for 20 years past, owning a farm of eighty acres one mile east of Tuft's school-house. He also owned a small piece of land in Dover township.
Mr. Fisk was a very industrious and prosperous farmer, and held in high esteem among his many friends and neighbors. He leaves a wife and four children to mourn the sad loss of a very kind husband and father.
The funeral was held at the Lake church, in Dover township, on Friday, Jan. 14, at 11 o'clock. The remains were laid to rest in what is known as the Graham cemetery, in Madison township. Great sympathy is extended to the bereaved family in their present sorrow and grief.
