The Nils von Sydow Family Home Page

I am researching The Family of Nils Von Sydow, he was born in Armark, Sweden, about 1840, he married Karen Anders. They had 4 sons, Ulrik, Karsten, Fridjov, & Alfred. They also had a daughter, Hedwig. Alfred came to this country in about 1915, and settled in New Jersey, where my father, Ulrich,was born,2/29/1920


In addition I am also researching The Family of Charles Herbert Lyon,b. 2/17/1861. In Lockport, ILL. He married, Nellie Turner, in Chicago,6/22/1880. They had 3 sons, Harry, Lester, & Robert,and a daughter, Ada. Robert, b.3/8/1888 in Oak Park, ILL.Married Catherine Callahan, and settled in Brooklyn, NY. Where my Mother Catherine, was born 10/11/1920.
