Updated September 10, 2000

I am researching the LONG..LANG family of Montgomery Co., Pa.

Surnames included in my efforts are: Benner, Bilger, Clemens, Clemmer, Clymer, Detweiler, Freed, Harpel, Hipple, Hunsberger, Kemmery, Kolb, Meyer, Nace/Nase, Oberholtzer, Reiff, Ritter, Schmidt, Souder, Stearns, Wismer and other families of Berks, Bucks and Montgomery Counties.

Malhon S Long, son of Enos Long & Leah Lavina Souder, married Annie Heckler Clemens, daughter of Abraham Clemens & Susanna Detweiler Heckler, on May 13, 1882 near Sellersville, Pa. Mahlon resided in Towamencin,Montgomery Co. Pa. and Annie in Hatfield, Montgomery Co.Pa. before their marriage. The ceremony was preformed by Reverend James L. Becker, Minister of the Gospel at St. John's Ridge Valley Lutheran Church, located in West Rockhill township., Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Enos father was Jacob Lang/Long born 1797, died 1875, m Elizabeth. This is the furthest back I can go in the Lang /Long branch of my family tree. If you have information about Langs/Longs that might connect to Jacob Lang b. 1797, please contact me.

Also if you have information on these people and their decendants or ancestors please contact Ginny at winpuf@beaufortco.com

This page is just begining. Please check in from time to time and watch it grow.
