| My SYPOLT family tree has improved with the help of a wonderful lady, Janice Cale Sisler, who is the Preston County, WV Historian. She provided me with many names and corrections. Thanks Janice! I have also received much information from other members of my family who are also online. We now know that there are at least 3 different spellings of the Sypolt surname (SYPOLT, SYPULT & SIPOLE). We have made definite ties to those three surnames. And we are certain of others as well. Thanks to all my new found Cousins for their contributions! I am searching for family members with surnames of SYPOLT, WEAVER, EVANS, CASSEDAY, WATKINS, DENT, McWILLIAMS and FISHER of the Preston County, WV area. George SYPOLT was of German decent and came to WV by way of PA according to several sources, and would appreciate any help in finding exactly where in PA and any other information available. I will be most grateful for any help, and hope that the information that I have submitted will be of some help to you.
