Sarah L. Sherrod of Arkansas married first Henry Aunspaugh (about 1888) and then John William Jackson in 1904. They had 4 children including my grgrandfather John William Jackson Jr. They lived in Arkansas, Missouri, and finally settled down in the forties in the Bay Area of California. Sarahs father (James Lafayette Sherrod) died after the 1880's and her Mother Julia F. Holland died after 1910. We lost track of her siblings after she died in 1956. John died in 1964. her children resided in or around northern california. All of her children have passed on but her grandchildren and great grandchildren are still the area.
