  Christmas was not Christmas until Santa arrived at 302 South Grand Ave. East. We had to wait upstairs with the big kids - Barb, Jim and/or John until we heard the jingle of the door bell and then we were allowed to go running down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs was stacks and stacks of presents all wrapped in white tissue paper. Imagine all of the white tissue paper flying. It was like walking knee deep in white snow.
