Notes: From Douglas Earl Tabor's FTW from Joe Tabor's FTW:

William Tabor son of William and Hagar (Stovall) Tabor born 1700.

William Tabor (776) had married Rachel Womack and started their family in the
newly formed Goochland County, then by 1745 they had moved south to the greater Lunenburg County.

Records show William Tabor was deeded 200 acres on the Roanoke River by John Wilkins on the 1 Oct 1745. The

1750 tithe list taken by Willam Howard shows " William Tabor and John Taber" together when John Tabor sold 200 acres on the north side of the Roanoke River to Robert Wade on 3 Jul 1753, " Rachel Tabor relict of William Tabor deceased, released her dower right to this land. From then on , Rachel Tabor and her children are mentioned in tandem in the records.

It seems that the Tabors then embraced the Quaker form of life. On 7 Aug 1754 in Lunenburg County we found, Deed of gift of Rachel Tabor lists children as infants ( under age 21 ) From the Oct 1757 court of the newly created Mecklenburg County was recorded that Hezekiah Tabor a tiltable to be added to a list of tiltable for the year. ( See Elliott's "Early Settlers of Mecklenburg County Virginia, Volume (2). From a 31 Mar 1760 return (P. 509 " Cumberland " by Thomas Anderson, Richard Palmer and Thomas Carlton we found " Rachel Tabor " and William Taber orphans Listed between Bullock, Robert Easter, Thomas Hawkins orphans and Robert Munford near Butchers Creek. " Riah Taber was listed next to Volentine Mullins.\\\\

From research in William A. Yates possession, we know the names of children born to William and Rachel Tabor
