"The Taff/Taft Family Home Page"
Updated September 6, 2000I am currently doing research on the Taff-Taft family tree. If you have any relevant information pertaining to these names, please feel free to contact me. I have traced the Taff or Taffe name back to Ireland. Michael Taff came over to the United States about 1850 and eventually settled in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where he married Susan Staggers on December 17, 1857.Children of Michael and Susan were Margaret Taff, William Patrick Taff, Susan Rosa Taff, George W. Taff, Michael Franklin Taff, John Milton Taff and Martha J. Taff. I am a descendent of William Patrick Taff.I am also tracing the Sanford, Key and Odom Surnames. |
