Genealogy of Katie Taft

Hello fellow genealogists! This web page is devoted to the ancestors of myself, and also of their descendants. Currently the main surname I am doing research on is Taft or Taaffe. Though there are literally hundreds of others, too.

Robert Taaffe was born in 1640 in County Louth, Ireland. He and his family immigrated to Massachusetts, circa 1678. Robert then changed his name to Taft. He and his wife Sarah had five sons, Thomas, Robert Jr., Daniel, Joseph, and Benjamin. My line goes back to Robert Jr. and Daniel. At the moment I have 3,028 descendants of Robert and Sarah Taft. I also have many other Taft's that come from different origins. 1577 Tafts total.

A few of my surnames are: ANDREW, ARNOLD, BARNEBEY, BERRY, BESS, BLUHM[from Prussia], CALDWELL, CALVERT, CROTHERS, FREDRICH, HENRY, IMIG, LADWIG[from Pommern], MOORE, PIPER[from Germany], TAAFFE[from Ireland], TAFT[from the name Taaffe], THAYER[from England], and WHITNEY[from England].
