I am currently searching for any information on my great grandfatherLewis M. Ragsdale, born in Randolph County, Missouri in 1814.
Enlisted in the Civil War August 26, 1862 as a Private.
Served in Company D, 9th Regt., Missouri Infantry.
Surrendered at New Orleans, LA May 26, 1865. Was paroled at
Alexandra, LA June 7, 1865 when war ended. Moved to Texas in 1872.
Lived in Wise County, TX before he died on October 5, 1918.
