Moses, Madgalena RAPHO TWP, LANCASTER CO., PA 409
Moses, Magdalina LYNN TWP, LEHIGH CO., PA 138

Either one of these entries could refer to the wife of Johannes/John, and may indicate that he died prior to 1830.

2) From the International Genealogical Index:

John Moses married Magdalene Koenig 6/05/1775 in Montgomery County

[The 'e' after the 'o' is an alternative way to spell the same sound represented by the umlauted ö. Also, Montgomery County wasn't formed yet -- would have been Philadelpha County instead.]

3) From Pennsylvania German Marriages, p. 301 -- Records of Falckner Swamp Reformed Church in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County (records from Pennsylvania Archives, 2nd Series, Volume 8):

Marriages by Rev. Nicholas Pomp --

"145 Moses, John, Magdalene Koenig 5 Jun 1775, both of Buckland twn., Ches."

[Buckland must refer to Pikeland township]

4) From The Journals of Henry Melchior Muhlenberg, Volume II, p. 750:

At St. Peter's Lutheran, Chester Springs, PA, in the year 1776:

"October 20, Twentieth Sunday after Trinity. In the forenoon we drove two miles in lovely weather (for this season) to the church, where a large crowd gradually assembled. Before the sermon I baptized four children of the congregation, and after the service an English child."

"3. Johann Adam, little son of Johannes Moses and his wife Magdalena, born August 6, a.c., baptized October 20, a.c. Sponsors: the grandparents, Joh. Adam Moses and his wife Maria Catharina.

4. Johann Adam, little son of Heinrich Moses and his wife Catharina, born August 25, a.c., baptized October 20, a.c. Sponsors: the grandfather and his wife Catharina."

[This record, with the link to Johann Adam and Maria Catherina Moses, shows the wife of Johannes/John to be Magdalena and the wife of Heinrich/Henry to be Catharina.]

5) From information provided by descendants of John Moses & Phoebe Ludwick:

It is possible that the John Moses born 12/10/1782 who married Phoebe Ludwick is also a child of Johannes & Magdalena, but this has not been firmly established at this point.

6) From information provided by Tamara Compton:

It is now known for a fact that the John Moses born 12/10/1782 is indeed a son of Adam's son John, but this particular John Moses happens to be the one that married Susanna Shoffner rather than the John Moses that married Phoebe Ludwick.
