6) From Obituary for Robt. W. Moses, Newspaper & date not provided:

"Obituary -- Robt. W. Moses

Robert Wesley Moses was born in Charlotte county, Virginia, on October 16th, 1834, and died at Crawfordsville on September 13th, 1902, being nearly 68 years of age. He went to Tennessee in 1857, then to Arkansas in the same year, teaching school in both states. He remained in Arkansas until 1860 when he returned to Virginia; was in the Confederate Army for four years, stationed most of the time at Fayetteville, North Carolina; had charge of a Hospital at that place; had Confederate soldiers and Union soldiers who had been captured; was captured by Sherman and was immediately paroled, as he had charge of the sick. After the war was over he returned to Virginia to the home of his brother, J. F. Moses, and remained there until 1871 when he went back to Arkansas; was Superintendent of Public Instruction for Pope county, Arkansas, for the years of 1873 and 1874; came to Oregon in 1875, arriving at Brownsville on November 18th of that year; moved to Crawfordsville in January, 1876; taught school until 1882 when we went to merchandising; was an active member of the Oregon State Pharmaceutical Association, being its president about five years ago. Was made a Mason in 1856 and was an active member of that order and a regular attendant of the meetings as long as his health would permit; was a member of the M.E. church South from 1860 to the time of his death, and died a triumphant death.

The remains were laid to rest in the Crawfordsville cemetery on Sunday, the 15th inst. Rev. Robe made a few appropriate remarks at the house, after which the Brownsville Lodge, A. F. & A. M., took charge. A large crowd witnessed the beautiful burial ceremony."

7) It would appear that Robert Wesley Moses never married and never had any children.
