Marriage Notes for Peter King and Anna King:
Information about the descendants of Peter and Margaret König/King can be found in the publication "The History of The Wagenseller Family in America, With Kindred Branches", by George W. Wagenseller, published in Middleburgh, PA, in 1878, pp. 124-125.

The key evidence that the Peter King branch mentioned in this book is the same Peter König/King as the son of Philip and Maria Engel König/Koenig/King comes from the letter written by Jesse King on pp. 135-137 of the same publication. This letter mentions an uncle George Orner, who is known to be the spouse of Peter's sister Anna Catherina König/King.

Children of Peter King and Anna King are:
+ 103 i.   David5 King, born October 31, 1820 in Pikeland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania; died 1897 in West Pikeland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.

  Notes for James F. King:
1) From the records of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Chester Springs (microfilm):

The name of the child was very hard to read -- I wrote down both "Jame Hord" and "Jane Ford" -- was born to Peter König and Margareth on 10/04/1822, baptized 12/01/1822. Sponsors were the parents.

2) From "The History of the Wagenseller Family in America, With Kindred Branches":

The first name appears to have been James (p. 125).

Witnesses include Michael Koenig and Maria Engel König. Maria Engel König is the wife of Johann Philip König and daughter of Johann Adam Moses -- she is the child's grandmother. Michael Koenig is probably the son of Johann Philip and Maria Engel König, and uncle to this child.
