He married Mary Eleanor Fleshman December 10, 1849 in Campbell County, VA. She was born December 08, 1829, and died December 12, 1905.

1) Excerpt from letter written by Peter Allen Moses on 4/18/1902 to the wife of William Alexander Moses:

"I have a brother, William Henry, who married in Campbell County in the early fifties. He left a family, but I lost sight of them many years ago. I thought when I wrote to you, you might be of his line of the family."

[I found two marriage records for a William H. Moses which fall within the correct time frame. At this time, it appears that that William H. Moses who married Mary E. Fleshman is the right person.]
