Soldiers home, Richmond, Virginia. He married Mary Ann E. Hudgins April 05, 1855 in Montgomery County, Virginia. She was born June 02, 1835 in Virginia, and died January 16, 1904 in Richmond, Virginia.

National Archives, Washington D.C. Civil War Record of Peter A. Moses
He served in Company C, 54th Inf. Reg of Va.; He enlisted on 4 mar.1862.
On 1 sep.1863 he was sent to montgomery Springs Va. Hospital. on dec 12, 1863, He recieved an issue of clothing from the same hospital. on 10 dec.
1863 He reported to the Medical Officer in Richmond Va. on 3 jul 1864
He was captured near Murietta, Ga. and taken as P.O.W. to Nashville,Tn.
Was transfered as a pow. on 13jul 1864. to Louisville Ky. and on 14 Jul.1864 was transfered to Camp Douglas,Ill. He stayed at Camp Douglas until 23 mar 1865 and was transfered to Point Lookout, Md. On 29 June
1865 he was released as a pow. from Point Lookout.

He was admitted to the Confederate Old Soldiers Home in Richmond, Virginia
( Camp Lee) on 6 jan.1907. He was 73 and came from Montgomery Co. He was born in Cumberland Co. Va. The medical cause of admission was
" Rheumatism" He died 75 days later buried in Holywood Cemetery in Richmond Va.
