Theodore Gambrill a gold prospector,selector,railway ganger and orchardist was Morisset's second settler .He selected his first piece of land nesr the railway crossing when the new railway line was being laid he was given a secong grant from the governmant of 20 aces which he named Kent Hill after his father's birthplace.Theodore married Angelina Sarah Woolcock 28 August 1877 he was 23 years old Sarah only 15 years oldthey were married in Murrurundi. They had 6 children the second daughter Pearl was burned to death at only 8 years old
Their first five children were born in the Bingara District the last son Edwin was born in Morisset. Theodore died in aged 85 and is buried in Morisset Cemetery.
