Lonney McKoy lived with a lady named Merildia Lee in Whiteville, North Carolina. Lonney killed a guy over a young girl not Ms. Lee. Then someone killed him over the same girl. As Lonney was dying he told the people arould to take his shoes off. His mother Rosealla McKoy use to always tell him that he would be buried with his shoes on.

After Lonney Mckoy died Merildia Lee married Cost George.
