BOYETT, CHARLES DUDLEY et. al, Guardianship Book 8 pages 758-764
      On Mar. 4 1845 DAVID BOYTT or BOYET appeared before the Court as guardian of ELIZABETH, PATSEY S., JANE C., MARY ALICE & CHARLES DUDLEY BOYETT, minor heirs of MARY BOYETT of Duplin Co., NC deceased, & stated that he could not render an inventory because he had never received any property of the minors. HENRY BOYETT was appointed guardian on Nov. 17, 1846 of CHARLES DUDLEY BOYETT & MARY ALICE BOYETT. Signing the bond as sureties were HENRY TAUNTON, WILLIAM BOYETT, and William Boutwell. At this time CHARLES DUDLEY BOYETT, minor over 14, stated that he had effects coming to him from his mother's estate & that he had chosen HENRY BOYETT as his guardian. On Nov. 15, 1847 HENRY BOYETT reported to the Court that CHARLES DUDLEY BOYETT & MARY ALICE BOYETT had $100 which he had received for them from CHARLES BRADLEY, administrator of the estate of RICHARD BRADLEY, deceased, who was the maternal grandfather of the two minors.
