Our Sims family tree as we know it is growing and producing new friends along the way. In Martin County, Indiana, Starling Sims set down the roots for a voluminous family history of which I want to read everything.

Starling's son, Zachariah, a sheriff in Martin County between the Mexican and Civil Wars married Joyce Morrow in 1847. Their family consisted of 8 daughters and 5 sons, one of which was William Morrow Sims, my gg-grandfather, who married Sarah "Sadie" Holsapple. One of William Morrow's sons, Clyde, moved from Martin County to Wright County, Iowa, with his wife, Ethel Marley, and their first child, my grandfather, Paul in 1912.

My primary interest, of course, is to meet family and hopefully share family stories and history.

For the genealogy at this time, I would like to see documented information regarding the parentage of Starling's father, Nathan, as well as any information regarding the parents of Joyce Morrow.
