| Nathaniel Dring arrived in the United States in October of 1872, a year after his wife, Phoebe Hutchinson Dring, died in Over, Cambridgeshire, England. In the mid 1800's, a family of French Canadians by the name of Saindon emigrated from Cacouna, Quebec to Iroquois County, Illinois. Thaddee Saindon and his distant cousin, Martine Mathilde Saindon, were married in Beaverville, Illinois on June 10, 1861. I am a decendant of both these couples and this page is dedicated to the family research of my ancestors. My Dring line has been tracked as far back as 1670 when John Dring settled in Warboys, Huntingdonshire, England. Some of the Drings moved to Over, Cambridgeshire, England in 1830-1840. On the other side, we have roots back to Pierre Saindon of France in about 1690. If you would like to share information in your research, please feel free to e-mail me. I have lots of information, but am always on the lookout for more. Family is so important. Where would we be without them? |
