I am posting my family tree here to further my research and in the mean time gain immortality (HA!).I have been using the Family Tree Program for at least five years now and my data base is quite large.I can not take credit for the majority of the work, which was painstakingly collected over the years by members of the Taylor and and Clark family, which I wish to thank at this time.My family and I live in Saint Louis Missouri, where I have resided all my life.I have a lovely wife, Norma, and two sons, Michael and Nicholas. My parents are originally from Pennsylvania, where the majority of my roots lie.My father was born in Scranton Pennsylvania, and my mother in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.I am a proud decendant of William Bradford of Mayflower fame, which I hope to exploit in the future on this site.Anyone needing additional info on a family line listed please contact me.Please feel free to contact me with information you may have of interest to me, any errors you may see, etc..I will also be posting special search requests here in the future. Thanks for visiting my site! Researching the following names: Taylor, Clark, Dice, Gardiner, Newcomb, Besore, Wrigley. Looking for information on a Dorthy Ault.My father, Sherwood Benjamin Taylor was apparently married to her during the forties, before divorcing and marrying my mother, Emma Jane Taylor. They also had two daughters, Judith and Sherry Lynn.I am not sure of the spelling of the last name.I believe they were married in Philiadelphia. This information has just come to light and I am trying to piece this together.Any information would be greatly appreciated.

- Great Grand Father, John Taylor 1839-1906 (75 KB)
This is John Taylor, veteran of the Civil War, Pennsylvania Volunteers, 177th Regiment and 188th Regiment.Poor John met an untimely death as an Engineer on the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad in 1906.Hauling coal through a coal breaker, he looked out the side of the train, only to be greeted by a wooden beam.Rest in Peace John, you will long be remembered and respected. - My Grandfather, Sherwood Samuel Taylor, 1878-1953 (78 KB)
Sherwood was baptized at St. Davids Church, on Sunday the fourteenth day of March, 1880. He spent his boyhood years in Factoryville Pennsylvania. After marrying, Sherwood moved to Jersey City, New Jersey and from there to Midland Park, New Jersey. In 1908 he accepted a position with F.B. Wall & Bros Grocers on Adams Ave. Scranton, Pennsylvania and took up Residence at 1119 West Elm Street, Scranton, Pennsylvania. - My Father, Sherwood Benjamin Taylor, 1915-1974 (90 KB)
A veteran of World War II, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he married my mother on July 13, 1950 and moved to St.Louis Missouri. There is a mystery here though. He apparently was married first to a woman with the name of Dorthy Ault, they had two daughters, Judith and Sherry Lynn. This is one puzzle I am piecing together and would appreciate any help on this. - My Mother, Emma Jane Taylor 1922-1999 (50 KB)
This is a photo of my mother during her younger days. She passed on earlier this year and is greatly missed.
