| GREAT NEWS!! FACT: Joseph was born in CAMERON, Steuben County, New York State, USA!! According to a recently surfaced Bible of Joseph & Lucy Taylor, Joseph was born March 31, 1824. The 1880 census shows his father was b.New Jersey and mother b.Conn. Joseph died April 19, 1904 in Portland, OR and is buried there. Joseph married Lucy Jane Denton (b.April 12,1825 in Northeast, Erie County, PA) on November 10, 1848 at Unknown. Lucy died at (Unknown, believed to be Alma, Allegany County, NY) on September 4th, 1890. I am a great-great grandson of Joseph & would like to get back a generation or two. If ANYONE has a hint for me I would appreciate an email. I am especially interested in any STEUBEN County, NY Taylor. To the family, I hope you will email me or drop me a line. I have tried to be accurate in my book printed below, but, I do make mistakes. Send me any corrections you find and any added information you may have. |
