The Teague Family Home Page

Updated September 5, 2000

TEAGUEI'm looking for any information about the Irish ancestors of Edward Teague (or Tegg, or Teage) of Cecil County, Maryland. Supposedly he was transported to Maryland from Bristol, England about 1675. Quite a bit of information is available on him after his arrival in North America, but little prior to that.

Also, I would like information on Lewdy K. Teague, my paternal great grandfather, of Laurens County, South Carolina, and his 11 children (Francis, Iras, Margaret, Jessie, Washington, Martin, Thomas, James, Arthur, John and Warren). They apparently migrated to Pontotoc County, Oklahoma and Clark County, Arkansas, in the early 1900s. It would help to know what the circumstances of their move west were.

I'm also looking for the parents of three brothers, Jonathan (or John), Green and Hunter Gentry who emigrated out of Tennessee sometime in the mid-1800s. Hunter went to Missouri, Green to Mississippi and Jonathan to Arkansas.

And I'm seeking any information on the ancestors of William Elias Rinehart who supposedly immigrated to Arkansas from Germany along with his twin sister sometime in the late 1800s, settling in Saline or Garland County.
