| I am researching the following surnames: WHITMAN,PAMPLIN, GILBREATH. The only regions I can pinpoint so far are Alabama and Tennesse. I know for sure that my great-great grandfather is Albert Powell Whitman. He was born in 1870 in Alabama. I have tentative information that his parents were James P. Whitman and Mary Gilbreath. Albert Powell Whitman married twice. His first wife was a Tarkington. Her first name could be either Amanda or Louise. His second wife was Lillian Gertrude Pamplin. I'm unaware of the birthplace of James P. Whitman and Mary Gilbreath. |
