Tennille_Wooten_Spear_Warner_Witherington_McDanielUpdated January 9, 2007 | Pardon my very feeble and unprofessional attempt to document how we got where we are today.Hopefully this will guide us into the future, allow us to enjoy each other more before we too also pass into "just memories" and make certain we do not forget those who went before us. I have attempted to not show any truly personal data that any "evil doers" that are "out there" might avail themselves of.I realize that the research of family is sacred and honor must be afforded both to the dead and the living. Please contact me if you wish your name to be "hidden" or if you have corrections or additions. A big tip of my hat to Leah Kannensohn's mother for the help and inspiration to gather much of this data.As MHK did with me, all I ask is that you please remember with kindness those who carved the path that we have in many cases so "easily walked".Other than "Leave It to Beaver" or "Father Knows Best", or "The Brady Bunch", no family was/is/ or will be perfect and no human -- however well loved and/or reared -- escapes this world without some scar tissue. In my case, I have intentionally torn off one of those labels on a new pillow that state that it is "a federal offense to remove" and I once smoked "rabbit tobacco" as a 12 year old with my cousin, Herb, and some other juvenile friends at the "grape vine" -- but I did not inhale. Herb was inhaling, I think? It is my hope that you will view your family history as a continuum of which you are a vital part and find peace through the knowledge that: *They were there and did the best they could under their circumstances. *We are here because of them, and we too will try to do the best we can under our circumstances. *Others will follow them and us, and they, too, will do the best they can because of those who came before and also because of YOU and YOURS.............. For those of us "still above ground", this web site is fortunately for us a work in progress so pardon the errors and omissions.Your assistance in making this site interesting, informative and accurate would be greatly appreciated. Also, your suggestions and constructive criticism would be highly valued. |
