  This is a reading of the stones which are located at the Tennant Memorial on Jakes Run
(County Road 29) just south of Mooresville in  Monongalia County, WV.  The site honors
Richard Tennant, Revolutionary War veteran, and his sons, who fought in the War of 1812.
The reading was completed on July 23, 2001.  (Note: There are no actual graves at this
site)

1) Although his stone clearly reads 1841, all other sources indicate that the correct year
of his death was 1847.
