Issue 4-9-1847: Died at Pickensville, Pickens Co., Ala., on Monday night, the 15th, Col. John W. Terry, late of Noxubee Co. Miss. b. SC on 4 March 1786...emigrated to Pickens Co. Ala. in 1847, & in 1841 he removed to Noxubee. In the spring of 1845, he was deprived of his partner, his beloved wife...made home w/ his son-in-law R. T. Johnson, Esq.
