 Includes NotesNotes for Sarah Walker:
"Sarah and Greenberry Stokes lived in the Sandy River area of Chester County and on what is now the George Moore farm. I (LKC) have talked to Mr. Moore about the family burying grounds on his farm and he told me that the land adjacent to his farm, where the Chester Memorial Gardens is now situated, was the site of the old STOKES graveyard. He stated that there was only one marked grave there, so far as he could remember, and that it was destroyed when the site for the present bell tower was graded with a bulldozer some ten years ago. He could not remember the name on the stone."
