Thackers of Leicestershire, England

Below, results of research into the ALLEN - ANGRAVE - BATES and THACKER families carried out a few years ago. Some of the BATES family emigrated to Canada in about 1912 and one or two THACKERs emigrated to America in the 1860s.

• Francine Riou (1906-1927) (9 KB)
  Nurse. Born in Lanriec, France. Third daughter of François Riou and Eugenie Lozivit. Pet name Cicine. Died suddenly following influenza, aged 21.
