| This web page represents my research into the Thacker family's beginning in the new world. It is a work In progress. I have been able to confirm the ancesrty back to Reuben Thacker of Lynchburg Virginia. I am currnetly working to confirm his father also Reuben Thacker of Virginia. The person most noteworthy in my research of late is Elizabeth Jane Dean-Thacker my great granmother on my father's side. She was said to be native american by my grandfather Oakley Thacker. So far my research can find no documentation on her except she was found in the 1880 census. |
