DELANEY: We are descended from Francis Delaney, a French Huguenot whose name was perhaps originally de la Nois, de la Noy, or perhaps Delano. He was in Greene County, Tennessee, in 1783 and possibly in Virginia before moving to eastern Tennessee. His wife's name was Agnes, and their children were John Sr., Mary, James, Jane, Daniel, and Agnes. I am searching for more information, trying to determine if Francis was the first immigrant, when he arrived, where his European home was, etc.

WATSON: Charles Oland Watson, Sr. was my great-grandfather; his parents are unknown. He was brought to Shelby County, Texas, as a youth about 1865 from Hancock County, Georgia, by Dr. George and Catherine (Rowe) Burton. Mrs. Burton might have been Charles' aunt. I am searching for clues to his parentage.
