| I am researching the following family names: BANGE The earliest information I have on the Bange family is Joannis Henrici "Henry" Bange who died circa 1900. He was married to Anna Maria Bruns (or Brune) and they were the parents of 3 or 4 children, one of whom was my gr grandfather, Anton Joseph Bange, born on July 25, 1842. DAFT The earliest information I have on the Daft family is Charles Henry (?) Daft, born in Birmingham, England in 1804 and, apparently, married to a lady named Ann Hand. One of their children was Frederick, born in 1844 in Wales. He died in 1912 in St. Louis MO. HEITZ The earliest information I have on the Heitz family is John (Valentine)Heitz, of Weissenfeld, Germany. He married Albertine Kilius. MCKINNEY The earliest information I have on the McKinney family is Martha A. "Mattie" McKiney, born March 10, 1858 in Tennessee. She died September 14, 1923, having been married on May 3, 1887 (St. Louis MO) to William W. Neff (Jr.?). (Recent information indicates that his name might have been James Wesley Neff.) They were the parents of five sons, one of whom was my grandfather, Leigh Leroy Neff. NEFF The earliest information I have on the Neff family is William W. Neff (Jr.?), born November 7, 1856 in Illinois, died September 9, 1902 in St. Louis MO. (Recent information indicates that his name might have been James Wesley Neff.) He was married on May 3, 1887 (St. Louis MO) to Martha A. "Mattie" McKinney. They were the parents of at least 5 sons, one of whom was my grandfather, Leigh Leroy Neff. RAWE The earliest information I have on the Rawe family is Joannis (John Henry) Rawe, born April 21, 1821 in Germany. He was married to Helena Adelheid (Hormann) Mest who was also born in Germany. They apparently had at least three children, one of whom was Emilie L. Rawe, my great-grandmother. SESSLER The earliest information I have on the Sessler family is Jacob Sessler, born January 16, 1840 and died August 2, 1932 in Rome GA. He was married in 1864 (Shelby Town IL). to Caroline Heitz. They were the parents of 4 or more children. |
