The Thedford's across the USA

I am researching the William Thedford (1803-1877) family . William was married to Jane Satterfield about 1825-1827 and their first child was Evan Pearson (1827-1882) born in Cherokee, Ga. I am interested in finding the ancestors of William and believe his father to be William and mother to be Elizabeth.

I am also looking for the following family names, Moody from New Albany(Union Co.) Miss., Weimann from Texas, and Hoote from Texas.
