I am researching the following: Holliday, Davis, Fortner, Russell. These families came into Virginia before 1776 and migrated to South Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi. They were in Mississippi before 1800 or shortly after. My information goes back to 1795.Before that I need HELP!!JOHN HOLLIDAY daughter Elizabeth was born in Kentucky in 1795. His only son Zacharia was born in Kentucky in 1798 and the last daughter Winiford was born in Mississippi in 1800. They lived in St. Helena Parish, Louisiana until about 1828 when they moved to Hinds County Mississippi. JOHN HOLLIDAY'S wife was Margaret. Who were his parents and what was her maiden name-could she have been Margaret Johnston-- and when did he die???? She is thought to have married Henry Hall in St. Helena Parish, Louisiana.
