| Desperately trying to find links to Michael Montanaro and Maria Girardi surnames. Michael was born in 1858, Maria in 1856. Michael's parents owned a store, Maria was either the eldest, or the eldest daughter and tended the sheep. Ship info, Delcaration of Intention to Become a Citizen papers simply state they emigrated from "Italy." Italian Passport dated 1892 lists Michael was born in Faeto. They emigrated to New York and went to Penn, four years later were in Wis and both died in 1938 in Ill.
