For the most part, this is initially a single-name research effort. As time progresses and information increases, other names will be followed. I am serving as the "hub" for a number of other individuals who are doing both independent and cooperative family research. I am corresponding also with a few individuals on potentially related names: THETGE and THETGA (which are related to each other). I will gladly receive any relevant information, no matter how trivial it may at first seem.Right now, the trace of the THEETGE name has stopped at Andrew, who was born in the late 1700s, and lived most of his life in or near Chenango County, New York. I have information on about 450 Theetges over the past 200 years. Most have been connected to the family tree, but some still haven't been identified as to where they fit.
