This information is what I have gathered from others, about my ancestors. My focus is on the surnames of my parents, but will take all information on related branches, direct, indirect, or assumed.
The Finkenbinder line can be traced to Cumberland Co. Pennsylvania, and then back to the Finkbeiner line in Germany.
The Finkenbinder line croses with the Mumma family in Pensylvania which is fairly well documented back quite a ways.
The Thody line jumps between the U.S. and Canada, and I have not been able to take it further back than Myrtle, OT. Canada in 1864, with John Isaac Thody.
