Notes for Dora ADAMS: Aunt Dora Creath.........Until I became involved with Genealogy I had no idea whose Aunt she was. I thought she was maybe a sister to my grandmother, Josephine Lee Adams and her sister, Edith Mabel Lee Yarbrough since they were all about the same age, each born between 1890 and 1900.

DORA CREATH
Mrs. Dora Creath, 81, 106 Wilkinson Ave. taken by the Sidney Rescue Squad to Wilson Memorial Hospital, was dead on arrival there this morning at 7:30. She had been ill the past four years.
A native of Anna, she was born Jan. 21, 1893, daughter of Lewis and Lavina (Allen) Adams. ON April 28, 1915 she was married to John Creath who died in July 1954.
Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Lucille King, with whom she lived three foster daughters Mrs. Charles (Geneva) Kimbro and Miss Cynthia Bolden both of Sidney. Mrs. Fred (Joan) Bowles, Los angeles, Calif.
A brother and seven sisters preceeded her in death.
Mrs. Creath was a member of the Mount Vernon Baptist church, and was retired 15 years from the Monarch Machine Tool Company.
