| Families that I am very interested in are: Robert Crawford, son of Joel and Frances Harris Crawford, who married Elizabeth Maxwell - after moving with his family from Virginia - Robert settled in Columbia Co., Ga. - I need more information on his children. John Thomas born in South Carolina - he was married approximately twice (1) Matilda Pace (2) Mrs. Julia ann Billingsly McLendon. This family lived in Coosa Co., Ala. John Goodgame, born in Georgia and married Sarah Crockett - This family lived in the counties Bibb, Talladega and Coosa in the state of Alabama. I need more information of his wife Sarah Crockett. James Gilford Connell, the son of John Connell,name of wife Sarah Ansley. He was born in Greene Co., Georgia and married three times (1) Mary Ann Goodgame (2) Sarah Ann Goodgame and (3) Martha Shawe - this family lived in Shelby Co., Ala. I would like more information of their chilldren and who John Connell married. Capt. Benjamin Merrell born in New Jersey and his wife Jemima Smith - This family lived in Rowan Co., N.C. His son Jonathan Merrell moved his family into Tennessee and his son Amos went to Shelby Co., Ala. Nathan Formby, the son of Nicholas Formby, born in Virginia and his wife Tabitha Echols - this family settled in Georgia and some of the childeren migrated westward. The sur-names that I am interested are: Connell, Crawford, Formby, Thomas, Carlisle, Monk, Merrell, Corley, Carden/Cardin Seales, Ogletree, Goodgames, Whatley, Wilkerson and Vanderslice to name a few. |
