McConochie/Ferguson

Searching for Hugh McConochie/Catherine Ferguson immigrants to Sherbrooke, Canada in early 1800's. Two letters home in 1839 and 1850. They had at least 8 family Alex and Margaret who moved to Philerton in Huron tract where ground was better, Mary, Isabella, add Duncan, other names not given.
A Vera Buck or Buick used to correspond with my father about 25 years ago. She sent photos of timber boarded house built by Grandma McConochie the year Granpa McConochie died and the name of the place appears to be Elphin. There is also a photgraph of a Granny & Granpa Colquhoun but I have no information about them.I would be grateful for any information.
Catherine Fergusson was a sister of my Grt Grt Grt Grandfather who was meal miller in Strachur.
