13. JOSEPH APSLEY⁴ COLEMAN (JOSEPH ELLISON³, JAMES WESLEY², SAMUEL JAMES¹) was born March 12, 1907 in Chester, Maryland on Kent Island, and died April 10, 1986 in Meridian Nursing Home, Corsica Hills, Centreville, Md. He married EDITH MAE PINDER October 25, 1930.

Obituary:

Joseph Apsley Coleman, Sr. of Grasonville, who had worked as a waterman since he was 11, died Thursday, April 10, 1986 at the Meridian Nursing Center, Corsica Hills, Centreville, Md. He was 79. Born March 12, 1907, he was the son of the late Joseph Ellison Stubbs Coleman and Agusta Adelaide Timms Coleman. He married Edith Mae Pinder of Centreville on October 25, 1930, and they lived in Chester until 1937. Then they moved to Grasonville. He was a 25-year member of the Knights of Pythias, Winchester Lodge #115, Grasonville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Joseph A. Coleman, Jr. of Chester and Barry P. Coleman of Stevensville; two brothers, Purnell Coleman and Paul Coleman, both of Chester; six sisters, Myrtle Coleman, Edna Harris, Adelaide Thompson, Ella Lewis and Lydia Coleman, all of Chester and Delma Bushman of Baltimore; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday April 14th at the Tom Helfenbein Funeral Home in Chester. The Rev. Jim VanDerWall officiated. Burial was at Chesterfield Cemetary, Centreville. Pallbearers were members of the Knights of Pythias Lodge.

14. DELMA ESTELLA⁴ COLEMAN (JOSEPH ELLISON³, JAMES WESLEY², SAMUEL JAMES¹) was born April 26, 1914. She married MILTON BUSHMAN April 13, 1946, son of JOHN BUSHMAN and LILLIAN CORKRAN.

Child of DELMA COLEMAN and MILTON BUSHMAN is:

MILTON⁵ BUSHMAN.

15. ELDRED PAUL TIMMS⁴ COLEMAN (JOSEPH ELLISON³, JAMES WESLEY², SAMUEL JAMES¹) was born January 31, 1916, and died October 16, 1997 in Chester, Maryland on Kent Island. He married MAMIE PINDER, daughter of CARROLL PINDER.

16. BERTHA MAE⁴ COLEMAN (FRANKLIN WHITEFIELD³, JAMES WESLEY², SAMUEL JAMES¹) was born May 23, 1908. She married JAMES ABBOTT.
